\nThe year 2007 coincides with the 25th anniversary for Establishing<\/p>\n

Emirates Banks Association which started its work on 1982 as:
\n\u201c Association of National Banks\u201d.\u00a0 On 1985 it was declared by the Ministry of Labour and Social\u00a0 Affairs, and on 1986 the name was amended to \u201c Emirates Banks Association\u201d.<\/p>\n

E.B.A. Board of Directors in this occasion, would like\u00a0 to extend their sincere\u00a0 thanks and appreciation to all member banks,\u00a0 and those working in the banking sector, and the former members of the board for their excellent support, their\u00a0 significant contribution and cooperation, since the establishment of the Association, and looking forward to continue their cooperation and invite them to provide us with their views, comments and suggestions that help and support the Association to attain its objectives in\u00a0 serving the banking sector for the Public interest .<\/p>\n

The Board Of Directors would like\u00a0 also, to express their sincere thanks and appreciation for the cooperation of all parties contributed in a way or another in supporting the Association and its activities, mainly the Central Bank of the UAE, and continued coordination and the existing of their representatives in the Association committees.<\/p>\n

We would like to thank the Ministry of Social Affairs for their patronage the societies of Public interest in the country and for their cooperation in all concerned matters. We are pleased to inform you that the Association will be moved this year to its new offices in Abu Dhabi, at the Commercial Building of (EIBFS) on the land which had been granted with thanks by Abu Dhabi Executive Council to both the Emirates Institute for Banking and Financial Studies, and the Emirates Banks Association jointly.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
